• This award is open to any graduating senior of Irish descent that is a resident of the Town of West Springfield and is planning to further his or her education at a two or four-year College, Trade School, or Apprenticeship.

• REQUIREMENTS:

1. 1. A copy of an acceptance letter from the institution of choice or some other form of proof of attendance in

2.     the fall.

4. 2. A written essay (300-500) words describing why you selected the College, Trade School or Apprenticeship,

5.     what your plan to study and your goals in the future.

7. 3. Please include this application with your submission.

• West Springfield students’ application must be submitted to the Guidance Department no later than April 15, 2026.

• Seniors attending another High School: their application must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2026.
