About the event
The West Springfield St. Patrick’s Parade Committee is proud to host our annual golf tournament, and this year, we gather to honor the memory of a truly remarkable member of our community, James "Jim" Martin, who passed away this past St. Patrick's Day.
Jim dedicated his life and career to lifting up others in our town. As the former Supervisor of Special Education for West Springfield, he spent years ensuring that local children received the care, advocacy, and education they deserved. His commitment to service didn't stop at the school doors; Jim was a pillar of the West Springfield Lions Club for nearly half a century, serving four terms as President and receiving the prestigious Melvin Jones Fellow award for his humanitarian work.
